Turkeys--out the bedroom window!

Last week I heard an awful racket outside the bedroom window & looked out to see a group of wild turkeys making their way across the yard in to trees.

they are loud and raucous and very territorial--I will keep watching them & will try & catch a photo of one of them flying. They roost in our tall pines--keeps them away from the predators.

Wild turkeys! I saw some domestic turkeys that had escaped from their pen the other day on my bike ride, but I didn't have my camera. Good photos Ann!

We used to have those in South Dakota...I miss seeing them. By the way, I loved your shoreline shots. Reminds me of the area where my aunt lives in Niantic.

This week is Canadian Thanksgiving. Those turkeys would look fine on a platter.

Although! I think they look grand in the great outdoors.

Wow it sounds like you live in a great place. Wild Turkeys, neighbors with Buffalo and all these nice shots of trees.
