No more snow til later!!

Hard to believe from looking at these photos that it's not the middle of winter--it's only the middle of October! All were taken on Fri the 16th! this batch has now melted, but it just started up again! big flakes and it's not sticking so far!
later today we will be going to Norfolk, CT--called the icebox of CT--there probably will be a foot of snow on the ground there!

Beautiful photos Ann! But so strange to see those winter scenes in mid-October. We're getting a little record heat, and sounds like the northern part of the U.S. is getting a really early winter!

I have read that an early winter means a short, or mild winter. I hope it's true!

Becky--it has been a weird year weather wise--no summer & now early winter!

Yikes! And I thought 58 degrees and rain was bad the other day.

Thanks! It's all melted now & it's supposed to be 60 today! And we wonder why everybody's getting sick.....

It's just too early for snow in Mid-October. I was comign back from a cold week in SFO and I heard the Northeast was going to get snow. This summer was just way too short.
