Fall along Furnace Brook

Furnace Brook runs along Rte. 4 in Cornwall and Cornwall Bridge, CT. it's one of those placesI've driven by many times, but never stopped & looked at it. I think we stopped once so Alan could fish for awhile--it's a popular fishing spot. The trees that still have leaves have these rich, golden colored ones. That's about all that's left now, especially after all the rain we have had lately.

I just love fall scenery, and as a season it's pretty nice until it gets really cold. Great pictures.

Sue & Vee--Thanks, I hope I can push myself to get out at least once a wee-there's so much to see around here!
Sue --it's cold here today--below freezing--frost on the windshield, but the sun is out!

What a beautiful spot. I love the fall in New England. I can do without the winters though.
