Erin Go Bragh!

Happy St. Patrick's Day ! With a maternal grandfather named Peter Patrick Carney, I am definitely part Irish. He came to the US from Ireland by way of England in the 1880's and landed in Philadelphia --they then settled in Trenton, NJ. He passed away when I was 3 or 4 so I really didn't get to know him very well, but he had an interesting life.

Happy ST Patrick's day from a 1/2 Irish woman. My father's parents both immigrated to the US from Ireland in the 40's. I Google my name many of the results are from Ireland.

Happy St Paddy's to you Ann. My maternal greatgrandmother, Annie Noonan, came from Ireland; she married my Maine Yankee greatgrandfather in the era of "no Irish need apply" and he was disowned by his family.

We saw Gabby at Bachilleres and gave her your envelope.

Great pic Ann! Yep, my Mother's parents were from Ireland and my Dad was from England- how an Irish Catholic got together with an English Protestant still mystifies me-LOL....and yes, we celebrated last night at the Black Rock Tavern....great food and McSorley's on tap....
