One of our neighbors with his daughter before she goes in the ring to show......

This boy's cow decided it didn't want to be led around anymore, so it just plopped down on the ground! ( It was up shortly after!)

Another boy with a cow 4 times his size........

A close up.....This fair is alot of fun because it is all about the animals, not the rides & food, etc. I like all that too, but it's nice to go to one fair that's about the agriculture. And this from a city girl!

I know when I went to the Comal County Fair, I was amazed at the little teenaged girls who were skinny as a rail handling cows about 10 times their size. I guess when they grow up that way, it's no big deal to them.
By the way, I love the picture of Rafe...what a gosh darn big ol' sweetheart.
I like the little Fair's too. The last one I went to was about 6-7 years back in Bend, Oregon. It was GREAT.
