A little snow to start off the month of March!

Ok, so they ( the weatherman) prepared us for this storm. But for our area of the state they said we'd get between 5-8 inches. We already have 1 foot! And it's still snowing! My driveway--it was plowed at 4:30 am--a few more inches have accumulated since....
Rafe loves being out in the snow--has his ever -present frisbee in his mouth! He can hope, but I was out to shovel & take pictures!

Luckily, it 's fairly light snow, but I'm taking my time to shovel. Did one section & came in; will go back out in awhile. This storm is dumping snow up & down the east coast--even in places in the south that rarely get any snow--Vee-how did you fare?

Ann, we got a couple of inches of slushy snow. It stopped for a few hours, but now we're getting more, although very light. I made it into work just fine, only a few minutes late. At least the snow is far prettier than the rain we had all weekend. And it's supposed to be in the 70s next weekend. Stay warm!

Just beautiful Ann! When I talked to a friend in Oklahoma on Saturday, it was snowing. I guess the same storm marched all the way across the U.S.! (But it didn't hit here.) In Washington State, all the neighbors used to get together on snow days and eat junky stuff! It was a snow holiday!

Just finished shoveling & now debating whether or not to go to work....Still snowing lightly, really don't want to go, but I know the owner would like me to come in for the afternoon....Just made the filling for chicken & cheese enchiladas so all I have to do tonight is put it in the tortillas

Oh, my gosh...even though I love snow, I am SOOOO glad I'm not shoveling it right now. It's so beautiful...and even more so when it's in some else's yard! Maybe I'll go out to Colorado or somewhere similar some winter day to experience snow...as long as I don't have to shovel it. I don't miss those days one bit...or spinning my tires in the driveway trying to get out...or trying to get a jump from a neighbor because my car wouldn't start...yeah...good times, good times. Winter up north is a whole different adventure. Texans think they're all that, but I'd like to see them get through a Minnesota winter like I have.
