New Macro shots

Update: Please read the in the comments about the red Lily Beetle & what to do to get rid of them!
Saw this interesting bug on one of my lilies. Love the contrast of the red against the green of the leaves. It's being very industrious--enlarge the photos & you can see lots of pollen gathered on its legs

Can see it better in this one.

And here.....

I don't like the bug but those are great shots.

Hi! I was blog hopping via the "next blog" thing at the top, and stopped here when I saw your bug!

This is a Red Lily Beetle - you DON'T want these around! Trust me - they'll demolish your Asiatic and Oriental lilies! (They don't touch daylilies, though.) Either smush them as you see them, or drop them into a cup of something that will drown them - I use veggie oil.

Also, check the backs of the leaves for little red or brown babies that look like dots or something. Get rid of those, too.

Just thought you'd like some info on these - even though they are pretty!
