New Blooms!

It's so nice to go out most every morning and see new flowers blooming! I was pleased to go go out on Sunday ( between the rainstorms) and see these poppies had opened up. I love the texture of the petals--they look like crumpled paper!






I just wish they lasted a little longer. Guess I should just plant a few more!

So pretty. We used to have poppies in my garden in Canada - singles and doubles. When the seed heads were mature, I'd go around shaking the seeds all over, and we were rewarded with tons of flowers, almost out of control, actually...lol.
