Thsi is one of the varieties of tomatoes I am growing--it's a Carmello, a variety that's supposed to keep growing even in cool weather--we are testing that! And a Cuban Yellow Grape--these are less acidic than red tomatoes --I usually just stand at the plant & pick & eat! Hopefully some will ripen before a frost!

Those tomatoes are beautiful! But I remember the struggle of trying to get them to produce anything in a cool wet summer.
My tomatoes look horrid! One plant is producing rotten tomatoes, and the other one very few. And they both look like crispy critters. It'll be my last attempt at growing tomatoes in the Phoenix heat!
Thanks, Becky!
Well don't feel alone in waiting for them to ripen. My mom's always come in around the 4th of July. Her plants were loaded but none were ready when I was there in Mid July. And it's not from cool weather let me tell ya...
