Interesting border

I went outside & saw this interesting border growing along one edge of the woods. it just sprung up one day--I hadn't noticed it before it started blooming.

This makes a nice looking border--I'm sure it's all weeds, but makes a nice border all in a shaded area.
Has anyone ever seen this before? We have all sorts of weeds that grow here--most I just let them grow & see how they turn out. Many I just can't keep up with!

A friend and I decided that there needs to be an internet search engine that allows you to insert a photo in the search field and have the search results returned to you in test. How cool would that be? You could insert your photo and get the results on what those flowers/weeds are.

Ann, we backed into the forest in Washington State and we would have beautiful flowers that would pop up suddenly, usually in the spring. Bleeding hearts, sweet woodruff, foxglove, etc... I had a gardener friend across the street who new what everything was! Occasionally, the two of us would transplant stuff from the forest into our yards. I had really good luck with ferns. I miss that forest!

Jackie--that's sounds like a great idea!
Becky--We have tons of ferns --our house is surrounded by woods & they are growing everywhere! The guy that cuts are grass is very knowledgable about plants, but I'm not usually home when he's around.

Ann - that looks like snowdrops? A pretty weed, in any case.

I don't know what it is but it's pretty. Weed or not.
