a few macro shots

I decided to put the macro lens on my camera & see what I could find around the yard. Have a few new roses blooming....

Kind of odd to see them this late in the season.

Have been picking a small amount of raspberries every day. These golden raspberries have been nicer than the ones we had earlier.

Just thought this was an interesting shot of the underside of a mushroom......

Those are absolutely gorgeous, Ann. I love the color of those roses...and the clarity of the mushroom is great! Would like to see more of what's growing in your yard. But winter's just around the corner in your neck of the woods, so they probably won't be there much longer!

Love the mushroom shot! I never know when to go macro and when to just move in close. I can never see any difference in my shots. Rule of thumb??

Wayne, I think macro is just an ability to get even closer than just close up....I usually use macro for bugs & flowers---I'll have to dig some out.
Thanks for stopping by & thanks for the comments. The mushroom was a random shot--happened to see them in the yard, so I picked one & held it up to take a photo
