Where the Buffalo ( Bison) Roam--a new spot!

Our neighbor has fenced in a new area for the bison.  He bought the house & adjoining fields next to his house & has done alot of work on the property.  Put in a pond & fenced in a large area.
As you can see in this photo, the new area is right by road--one of the 2 "major" highways ( Route 4) that bisect Goshen.  Luckily, this section of road is wide with a shoulder, so passersby can stop & ogle the bison.

The herd keeps getting bigger--noticed a few new "babies" in the field today.  He ( the neighbor) says he can't keep up with the demand for the meat!

It seems so funny seeing them in New England! When we lived in Nebraska, we went to a Buffalo Preserve out by Valentine. You just drove your car out through them on a rutted dirt road. It was a little frightening because some of them seemed almost as big as the car.
