It's a bug's life


In the summer I like to wander in my yard looking for bugs to photograph ( ok, I know that's weird!) I usually can find some interesting ones.

This is the original of the 1st one. That one was enhanced using the watercolor effect in Photoshop elements

And a few more --all taken with a macro lens.

Very cool Ann! I don't have the camera for it, but I saw a preying mantis (sp?) the other day when I was watering. I hadn't seen one of those in years! And the dragon flies around here are pretty sensational. They like to buzz the pool to get drinks.

Way cool!! I have so much scanning to do of my odd bug photos, but with over 60 photo albums to go through, I don't remember what year I took some of them!!
