My favorite time of the day--early morning. I'm usually up & out walking around by 6-6:15 am most mornings. It's such a peaceful time of day. I enjoy sitting along the malecon watching the sunrise.
Or walking along Playa Norte when you only have a few people and the beach dogs for company--the moon is still visible that early in the morning.

I love Isla mornings too and it seems that a lot of people frome the boards and blogs do. Funny thing is...on my early morning aventures I've never run into any tourists. The locals at the Mercado and the dogs and cats are usually my only company.
Guess we just go at different times of the year!
Very nice photos...I especially like the last one with the single palm tree. I love it there in the morning too, before everyone gets up. It became a morning ritual to walk along the Malecon...and finish up at M&J's for breakfast. *sigh*
Nice photos! I love sunrises but do not usually get out to see them. I am awake but not ready to leave my room quite yet.
