Did he start bobbing his head at you? It's weird, but I didn't notice as many iguanas in the usual spots on Isla this time. There were always a couple of very large ones at Luna Turquesa in the rock formations on the beach. They weren't there this time. And Fat Boy who always hung on the airport strip sidewalk and scared the crap out of me everyday also wasn't there.
Becky, I saw lots more than usual...there were at least 6 or so that hung out on the roof next door to us--I'll post photos at some point! Lots at Garrafon de Castilla too!
I'm wondering if the resident dogs out at Luna Turquesa maybe drove them out of the rocks? Don't know. And maybe old Fat Boy finally died. I'm amazed that iguana stayed in that pot and didn't skitter away.

Cool...he can clean out the weeds in the pot and fertilize at the same time! Loved the rooster crowing in the background!
Those things scare me.
I was up, ready to go inside if it made a move to come towards me!
