Peeking over the fence at me!

 Yesterday when I was driving home from grocery shopping I noticed "our" large flock of turkeys  at the neighbor's house.  Of course I had my camera with me so I stopped on the road & got out to take some photos!  Most all of these are cropped because if you get to close they run away!

Making their way across the street--headed to my house!  After I got home & put away the groceries, they were on the hill behind the house cackling away!

 My maternal grandfather's name was Peter Patrick Carney--do you think he was Irish?  Don't own much of anything kelly green except these socks that I haul out once a year!  Erin Go Bragh!  The Gaelic  is "Éirinn go brách, meaning Ireland Forever

Tranquility

 I've always loved this spot  here in town--I drive by it on the way to the vets & I  have made that trip numerous times over the years!  Today I had to go pick up a refill for Rafe's Deramaxx pills & when I went by I noticed a for sale sign. I told Alan about it when I got home.......

So I decided I'd look it up to see how much it is being sold for ( not that we're looking!--just wanted to know)
Here's what I found.....  Well, I can dream can't I?  On the site I looked at it was the most expensive place on the market here in town!    Yikes!

 I walked outside late this morning & saw that the croci had bloomed!  It's only mid march!  Crazy weather we're having here in NE! ( and many other parts of the world...)

Touch Up Tuesday

 Back to posting more photos from our Isla Mujeres trip. I enhanced a few of these photos ( hence the name Touch Up Tuesday!)--so first is the enhanced & then the original.
 Late one afternoon I went down to Playa Norte to watch the sunset and spotted this bird standing on the pylons right in front  of Buho's.

 At first I thought that one of his feet must be stuck somehow--watched the bird for what seemed like a long time--probably was only 20 minutes

 Just held its wings open like it was airing them out!

 I turned away to see some of the sunset & when I looked back, it had flown away!

A Bit of Nostalgia

 Do you remember having these as a kid?  I do & quite often if you have great memories of something from childhood, it's not the same as an adult.  I bought a package of these --watermelon slices at Vasilows last week--boy are they tasty!  I think even better than I remember!  I love coconut & that's what these are--probably mostly coconut & sugar--yummy!
