| We have a few woodpeckers that live in our trees--and as long as they only peck the trees it's OK. I stood under a few trees for awhile on Sunday to try & see & take photos of one! |

| later in the day we heard a loud thud & went outside & found one of them dead--it had slammed into the large windows in the solar room. And on cheerier note, this is my 900 post on my blog! Thanks to all of you who read & comment! |

We used to have woodpeckers at a house that I grew up in. They're loud!
