I have bloggers block, so I thought I'd fall back on the old reliable--pictures of Isla. In the past few days I've rec'd emails from a few of our friends that go at the same time that we do--Are you going, when do you arrive? It's less than 2 weeks & I really haven't stated to get ready...I keep saying ...on my next day off! Well, that's today so we'll see......
Expecting another ice storm tonight so I probably won't be able to go to work tomorrow & that will give me more time!I took this the 1st trip to Isla, still remains one of my favorites!

Ann, I bet you'll be glad to dip your toes in some warm (warmish) water! Better get packin'! I used to always pack weeks in advance, but I stopped when my trip got cancelled by Wilma. It was a real bummer unpacking a bag that never got off the ground!
Becky, the toes in the water will be one of the 1st things I do after dropping off the luggage! The way the weather has been here in NE, I'm a little worried about getting out of here--there are 8 of us from the area on the same flight!
I can relate to the blog block...AND the toes in the sand. Last time I was there, I didn't even wait to drop my luggage! I took it along to Picus for that first cerveza and the sand under my feet. You'll definitely appreciate the warmth considering where you're traveling from. Five more months for me!
