Macro Monday
Decided to post a flower (hibiscus) from Isla for my Macro Monday shot. Less than 2 weeks to go & I'm getting excited. Better start packing....& pray for no snow ( at least on the day we have to get out of here)!

Out in the snow
It snowed yesterday...but it took all day to get less than an inch--overnight we picked up a few more.....Usually Rafe loves to go out in the snow, but he was being contrary & only went out to pee & then was right back at the door!
Of course, I made him wait so I could get the camera! This morning--the barn in the snow

Camera Lens.......Mug!
I saw this on FB with a link to the site that sells them...thought it was neat & I wanted one of myself! I usually do all my own present shopping--that way I get what I want! I'm not a jewelry person at all & that's the extent of what Alan will buy! A great place for photographers!
I have looked at other items on the site & have seen things I like!

Our flock of Turkeys
Yesterday I heard the telltale clucking of turkeys outside the back door & went to investigate. They seem to be around more more this winter than past years. And a much larger group. Two of them were showing off, fanning their tails. Captured a little on video.

Deb's new blog
Just in case you haven't seen it yet, Deb (IslaDeb or debstm ) has started a new blog, just for her trips to Mexico. Deb's Mexico Musings
As usual, her photos are beautiful & her words a delight to read. Love the Isla child all in red!
Can't wait for more entries!
Hopefully the entries for the next 2 weeks will get me through til we go ......18 more days!

Macro Monday
I think these are self explanatory--Macro photography is about my favorite type to do. It's amazing what you can capture with the right lens that your eye ( or at least my bad ones) wouldn't see otherwise!
