Pretty Planters

 We went over to a friends house for dinner a few weeks ago & they had the prettiest planters on their deck!

 The combinations of flowers that she uses are great!

 I love all the different colors in one pot!

Re-blooming!

Went out this morning to check for more tomatoes & noticed that mu Cinco de Mayo rose had some new blooms on it!  This is a new rose for me this year & I love that it's flowering again!

Macro Monday

 Have seen a few bees & butterflies ( and even a couple of hummingbirds the other day) but never seem to have my camera handy!  I guess because it's usually when I'm digging in the dirt!

 But I spotted this bee a few days ago & I had my camera--they tend to hang around a little longer when they fine a good spot!

Sunday Still

One of my friends came over for the day & we decided to drive to Great Barrington, MA for lunch & a trip to Guido's.  Went to a deli for great sandwiches & then on to Guido's--it's a grocery store that I would say is similar to Trader Joe's but only has 2 locations.  I can never leave without some sweets from the bakery, so I got 2 lemon tarts ( one is gone already--Alan decided he likes them!)

Saturday Single

Another one done!  I think I am up to 10 kinds finished!  This is Apple Jelly, I hope to make all the rest in the next week or so--wish me luck!

Oh, The Things You See!

At least I had my camera !  This( totally covered) crocheted grocery cart was on East 5th Street in NYC outside of a health food store.  Can't imagine taking the time ( or having the time & inclination ) to do this!

Went to NYC yesterday & while looking for a store we turned right instead of left & came upon this!
