Look What I Found!

Monday was a gorgeous day & I was outside doing a bit of raking...lots more to go!  Thought I'd take a look in my garden & see if any carrots survived the winter...some did!  We had snow early & often so the garden got covered quickly last year & I forgot about leaving the carrots in the ground!    Can't wait to see how they taste!

Lots of birthdays in my family this month!  Yes, that is snow--photo taken a few weeks ago, but what you can't see is the roaring fire ( a burn pile)  behind him!

 

Rafe's Birthday

Today would have been Rafe's 11th birthday and we are missing him so much!  He was my constant companion and the spot beside me is so empty!

Tuck, our 22 year old cat--born around Easter ( 22 yrs ago).  He has outlived alot of cats in this household!
