A Sign of Spring

Having trouble posting on here so I thought I'd try a one photo post.  I did all the things that Blogger told me to try so here goes....

Driving by today I noticed quite a few of the bison relaxing in the snow--or huddled against the cold!

 I've been remiss in posting photos from vacation--hope to get a bunch up this week.  Since Carnival is at different times every year ( because of the lenten calendar) we have only been there twice when it has been.  But it's lots of fun

 The costumes this year were amazing!  And all the ladies were very gracious to stop & have their pictures taken.

Love the expression on this young man's face--they all seem to enjoy participating--I saw this troupe 3 or 4 times around downtown & in the parades.

Visitors

A few minutes ago I looked out the window & saw a bunch ( flock ) of turkeys on the hill behind the house.

So, of course, i grabbed my camera & went to the back door to try & get some photos.  It's hard because they are in the trees & the camera sometimes wants to focus on the trees, not the turkeys! ( I know I could shoot manually!)

usually they don't line up so perfectly!
