Shock Top ?

 Becky, I thought of you when I saw this !
Shock Top is a traditional Belgian-Style wheat ale- I'd never heard of it before I saw this car at the Big E.
( I'm the 1st to admit I'm not a big beer aficionado).  It comes in Belgian white, Raspberry Wheat & Pumpkin Wheat flavors.

Photo Challenge #4--Morning

I am definitely a morning person, so I had lots of photos to look through for this challenge!  This is one of my favorites from our trip in January to Isla Mujeres.  Alan likes to sleep in so I usually go out for a walk at sunrise --take some photos, look for shells & seaglass.  The island is so peaceful then!  Spotted the sun coming up through this statue--took quite a few shots from different angles--I love how the rays are right in the center!

Maine Building at the Big E

It's all about the food!  First food that we consumed was a Wicked Whoopie pie--red velvet --lots of kinds to choose from but I love red velvet!

The we walked around and looked at the different craft items--thought this was a unique use of old license plates

Stopped by this booth where the gentleman was selling prints of different light houses from New England--they were beautiful!

There was alsobaked potatoes, "lobsta" rolls, and blueberry stuff for sale!

On to the next building!

Macro Monday

There is a bakery /restaurant in Wingdale, NY ( right on the NY/CT border) that has yummy sweets & sandwiches!  It's called Cousins Cafe
Cousins Cafe   Whenever I'm in the area ( which  isn't too often ) I try & stop for a treat.  When I went to NYC a few weeks ago, we stopped on the way home and got some cannolis - ate one before we left the parking lot!

6th Annual Graham/Kelley Fish Fry

 Yesterday we went to the 6th Annual Graham/Kelley fish fry!    It was a fun afternoon!--it was  like a mini Mexico reunion--the 2 couples that host the fish fry have gone several times ( and fished in the Barracuda Bash!) Plus 3 other couples that have been on the island when we've been there!  Here's Alan, Sandia, Brian & Steve.
