Just Spotted

Was just out on the patio & saw this butterfly go by--it landed on the stone wall; I didn't hold out much hope that it would still be there after I went in to get my camera, But it was!  It was very obliging, stayed still while I took a few photos!

    Love butterflies, but I can never catch them for a photo. There are bright yellow butterflies out front here. (Wish they ate scorpions.)

    I haven't had much luck this year getting photos, was surprised this one stayed around as long as it did!
