Green Animals mansion, Rhode Island

Photos of topiaries at Green Animals mansion inPortsmouth, RI. I went on a tour of a few mansions outside of Newport. These are ones you don't hear about as much as the huge ones that are in Newport. Amazing topiaries, including the legendary animals. The garden is the oldest of its kind in North America and was once owned by a wealthy textile merchant. The stately Victorian home also has orchards and vegetable and herb gardens, in addition to the whimsical and elegant topiaries.

They all have beautiful gardens and window boxes. The one below are on a garage/shed.

Elephant topiary. The mansion and grounds were a fun place to go to walk around. The mansion is located overlooking Portsmouth Harbor, so has a beautiful view.
